I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Applied Mathematics and Statistics department at Johns Hopkins University, working under the supervision of Professor Yannis Kevrekidis. I am writing my dissertation on Data-Driven Dimensionality Reduction: Manifold Learning for Optimization and expect to complete my degree during the Fall 2022 semester. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with dual bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and mathematics.
My research interests include data science, optimization, stochastic processes, and machine learning. I am particularly fascinated by the role that scientific and engineering applications can play in driving mathematical advancements. I have a personal hobby of linguistics, so I am also interested in opportunities to work in natural language processing.
